If you’re thinking about having a newborn session but are uneasy about leaving your house and driving with your new baby so soon after they’re born, don’t worry! I come to your home and set up a mini studio wherever you have room. I also use your home as a backdrop whenever possible. We can use your living room, the nursery or your master bedroom which are all great backdrops for photos and give your session a more personalized feel.

For example, for this session, I set up my little studio in the breakfast nook in the kitchen. Once I was done with the studio photos, we headed up to the master bedroom for the family photos. I helped move some things out of the way, took any miscellaneous items off the nightstands and made sure the bedding was smooth. It only takes a few simple tweaks to make a room look great for photos, so don’t worry if your home isn’t “perfect.”
