11 Jul Sac State Graduate | Photos on Campus and the State Capitol

Graduating from university is one of the most exciting times of anyone’s life. The whole future lays before you and you are more than ready for the next step. However, it’s also a bittersweet time as friends part ways and head off to new horizons. Luckily university friendships often have the strongest bonds and people count their college classmates as some of their best friends throughout their lives.

Graduation is a time for the whole family to celebrate. To toast their children’s success and to wish them well for the future. What better way to capture that celebration than through photos that can be shared with the wider family. Letting Aunts, Uncles, Grandparents and those friends who couldn’t make it on the day, join in the well wishing.

In May I was really pleased to play a part in Elijah’s graduation, capturing memories that he and his family will look back on for years to come. Elijah was graduating from Sacramento State University and heading off to a marketing role in his family’s company.

To make the most of the beautiful sunny day we took a variety of photos around the University and across the Sacramento Capitol. I love these wide ranging photo shoots because they create a lasting memory, not just of graduation day itself, but offer reminders of the backdrop to college life.
